GREEN BAY – The Packers got their man at receiver Friday night after trading up in the third round with the Tennessee Titans to draft Clemson's Amari Rodgers with the 85th overall pick.

The Packers moved up from No. 92 by surrendering one of their fourth-round picks, No. 135 overall, to the Titans.

Rodgers, a contributor on all four of Clemson's four straight College Football Playoff berths from 2017-20, caught 181 passes for 2,144 yards with 15 receiving touchdowns in 1,901 snaps over 55 career games (37 starts).

A featured punt-returner since 2018, Rodgers finished with 68 career punt returns for 529 yards (7.8 avg.) and a touchdown. He was just the fifth Clemson player since 2000 to record touchdowns by rush, reception and punt return in a career.

The 5-foot-9, 212-pound receiver finished his career sixth in Clemson's history in career receptions, 12th in career receiving yards and tied for 14th in career receiving touchdowns, as well as ninth in career punt return yards.

He's the first receiver the Packers have drafted since taking Equanimeous St. Brown in the sixth round in 2018.
